Julio Jones Signs Five-Year, $71.25M Deal With Falcons

The Falcons have signed Julio Jones to a five-year contract extension, the team announced Saturday before its preseason game against the Dolphins.

Jones, 26, will receive $71.25 million over the life of the deal, with $47.5 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Cardinals Offer Chris Johnson One-Year Deal

The Cardinals have made a one-year offer to running back Chris Johnson, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini on Tuesday.

Johnson, who became an unrestricted free agent after the Jets declined to exercise their option after the 2014 season, recorded career lows for carries (155), rushing yards (663) and rushing touchdowns (one) last season after signing a two-year, $8 million deal.

Lavonte David, Buccaneers Agree To Five-Year, $50.25M Deal

Lavonte David has agreed to a five-year contract extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers worth $50.25 million on Sunday, according to sources. 

The new deal will include $25 million in guaranteed money, sources said.

David is heading into the final year of his rookie contract and the Bucs have made it clear all along they wanted to keep him for the long term.
